| 3-year-old Welfenkönig successful in France |
| Welfenkönig, a three-year-old colt by Soldier Hollow, was steered to victory in a 2500 m race in France by jockey Stephane Breux today. Welfenkönig was bred by Gestüt Röttgen out of the Königsstuhl mare, Well Known. He is in training with Mikel Delzangles in France for German owner Erich Schwaiger. |
