Soldier Hollow’s Marunas showed yet another impressive performance as runner up in the 76. Großer Preis von St. Moritz, a listed race over 2,000 m on a snow-covered track. The four-year-old colt, trained by Peter Schiergen for owner Eckhard Sauren, was piloted by trainer-son Dennis Schiergen, who expressed his satisfaction after the race: “Everything went as planned during the race. The winner was not to beat today, but Marunas showed great form once again.”
