| Marunas continues great form |
| Eckhard Sauren’s Marunas confirmed his great second place finish at Listed level in Switzerland winning a level 2 handicap at the opening of the racing reason at Cologne racetrack today. In a close fight down the stretch, the favorized son of Soldier Hollow had the better end against König Arte and Seewolf in the 1,600 m Preis des 1. FC Köln. Andrasch Starke was in the saddle of the four-year-old for trainer Peter Schiergen. | ||
