| With today's performance in the first race of her 2017 campaign, the filly by Soldier Hollow surely recommended herself for greater challenges up the scale. Star jockey Christian Demuro (photo) had tons of faith in his mount. For most the race, he had NADESCHDA lope along in the back of the pack, but when he asked her for more upon entering the stretch, the filly took off like a steam train and romped past the rest to record a very confident three-length victory at the wire. Nadeschda is out of the fourth-placed in the German Oaks, Nadin, from German breeder Ulrich Zerrath. She is in training with Kevin Borgel, France. |
