And once again, he ran away from the "Blue Ones!" Today, Wiedingen-bred DSCHINGIS SECRET gave yet another impressive performance at Chantilly, which hopefully serves as a good omen for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe held in the same place in three weeks.
The four-year-old son of your 2016 Champion Sire SOLDIER HOLLOW ran a formidable race with Adrie de Vries aboard against international opponents and possible Arc-contenders in the €130,000 G2 Qatar Prix Foy. De Vries gave the colt an undisturbed trip in the outside lane where the pair tracked the Japanese pacemaker until the field reached the final stretch where Dschingis Secret ignited the well known turbo and began to draw clear reaching the 400 m mark. Having seen no whip at all, at 2400 m, the four-year-old passed the wire one and a half lengths ahead of the Godolphin favorite Cloth of Stars.
Naturally, we are incredibly proud to have bred such an incredible horse! Our heartfelt congratulations go to owner Horst Pudwill, trainer Markus Klug and jockey Adrie de Vries for this enormous success, and we look forward to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. All fingers and hoofs crossed!
