| GONDORA by our champion sire SOLDIER HOLLOW turned her first outing this year into a full success at Berlin-Hoppegarten today. The four-year-old Auenquelle-bred, who had tried her luck at group level last year, prevailed in a field of strong opponents. Stalking the leader for most of the way, Gondora jumped to a conclusive finish under Bauyrzhan Murzabayev to secure a win by healf a length in this allowance race over 1600 m. Given this successful warm-up, Trainer Roland Dzubasz most certainly has his eyes set on better tasks for the Soldier Hollow-daughter. |
