| Eight starters, four of them SOLDIER HOLLOW progeny and had there been a superfecta, it would have to be named after our champion sire! Such happened today at Mülheim in the Preis der Roten Bank, a 2000 m level 3 handicap in which Soldier Hollows went one through four. The dominating horse amongst them was SONNENSTURM, trained by Axel Kleinkorres for owner Elke Weiss. The four-year-old colt went gate-to-wire under Stephen Hellyn scoring confidently by nearly four lengths followed by SUAREZ (René Piechulek/Andreas Bolte), SEXY HOLLOW (Andrasch Starke/Peter Schiergen) and ROI DU SOLEIL (Maxim Pecheur/Lucien van den Meuen) who completed the tremendous success for their sire SOLDIER HOLLOW. |
