| Interesting news reach us from Gestuet Auenquelle, the home of our designated champion sire 2018 SOLDIER HOLLOW. Two days ago, Auenquelle has made an interesting purchase at this year's Tattersalls Mare Sale where a Rock Of Gibraltar-mare named VINTAGE RUM was acquired for 15,000 guineas. The fascinating part of this deal is that the five-year-old is a daughter of ISLAND RACE, which makes Vintage Rum a half-sister to our champion SOLDIER HOLLOW (photo)! |
