| SERENA kicks off year with Black Type finish |
| Despite pausing for more than half a year, SOLDIER HOLLOW's SERENA kicked off the year with a strong performance with an impressive third place finish in the Listed level Preis des Gestüt Röttgen at Hoppegarten today. In the 1600 m challenge, the four-year-old filly racing in the silks of Gestüt Paschberg came charging down the final stretch from the back of the pack and drew home gamely for a great third place. Carlos Henrique was in the saddle for trainer Hans-Jürgen Gröschel. |
