| Oaks hopeful WELTBESTE much the best at Mülheim |
| Gestuet Roettgen's WELTBESTE kicked off her three-year-old campaign with a strong win at Mülheim today. The Maxim Pecheur-trained SOLDIER HOLLOW filly showed great fighting spirit under Martin Seidl and showed Grewe-trained Wilko to the places with a strong final run. WELTBESTE is a hopeful for this year's Oak and classic season - with good reason. The filly is a sister to Derby winners Windstoß and WELTSTAR, the latter being by SOLDIER HOLLOW as well. |
