Horst Pudwill-owned Dschingis Secret and his steady partner Adrie de Vries broke well for the 2400 m trip and were strategically positioned in the outside lane close the lead. They entered the final turn and stretch in promising position where the colt had a strong moment and seemed to make a leap, yet he did not quite hit the amazing turn of foot he had shown in the previous races. Behind the exceptional winner, the British filly Enable, the Soldier Hollow-son finished with a phenomenal sixth place, however, and once more made perfectly clear that he belongs in the highest class of this beautiful sport of ours. |
